Turbonetics Releases a New Series of GT-K Turbochargers with Forged Billet Compressor Wheels
Submitted by admin on Mon, 10/31/2011 - 5:15pmThe GT-K series, Turbonetics’ premium turbochargers covering the 325 to 1050 horsepower range, is expanding its lineup with HPC forged billet aluminum compressor wheels in the newly developed GT-K 600, 700, 750, 850, and 1050 turbochargers. A further development over the HP compressor wheels, the HPC compressor wheels provide even greater efficiency and airflow. To withstand the extreme pressures, HPC compressor wheels are machined from forged blanks instead of standard bar stock.

Turbonetics Hires Brian Regnier, a veteran of turbocharger application and design engineering, as New Director of Engineering

For the past 22 years, Brian has been involved in the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), aftermarket, and motorsport turbocharger engineering. Brian got his start with Warner-IHI Turbochargers (Shelbyville, IL) in 1990 and had been with Honeywell Turbo Technologies (manufacturer of Garrett™ turbochargers) in Torrance, California for the past 16 years.
